The Horst Athletic Center (HAC) offers LBC students the chance to play sports, enjoy recreational activities and engage in physical fitness. The HAC is home to the Chargers Men's & Women's basketball and volleyball programs. This gym was built in 1975 and renovated prior to the 2015-16 academic year. Horst Athletic Center seats approximately 655, and includes chairback seating on one side.

The gym also has a concessions stand for fans, and serves as the hub of Charger Athletics, housing the athletic offices, athletic training room, locker rooms, and equipment and laundry rooms.
